I'm Claire, a CIPD-qualified HR consultant based in Farnborough with over 15 years' experience in senior HR roles. I support small businesses across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, in person or online, and work remotely with businesses anywhere in the UK.

Support FAQs
Do I need to sign up to a monthly retainer?
No. I work as and when you need me, on a single issue, a project or regular ad hoc support. I'll always agree the scope and cost with you before any work starts.
What size of business do you work with?
Mostly small businesses, from a handful of employees to a few hundred. Some have no HR person at all; others have a small HR team that needs extra support.
Can you help with an issue that's already started?
Yes. Plenty of people get in touch once something is already underway, like a grievance, a long-term absence or a disciplinary. I'll help you work out where things stand and what to do next.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. I'm an HR consultant, not a solicitor. I'll help you follow a fair process and good practice, and if something needs legal advice, I'll tell you.
Do you only work with local businesses?
No. I'm based in Farnborough, but I support businesses anywhere in the UK online.
